Created in 2015, the ALTA concept is modern and welcoming while offering quality cuisine and service. In 2019, Maxime Sayet and Hadrien Hurault took over this establishment to continue the adventure. Since then, we have continued to develop this restaurant to offer you the fruit of our diverse experiences, which we hope will meet your expectations.
THE DINING ROOM
When you sit down in our establishment, you will enjoy a warm atmosphere around an industrial decoration combining wood and metal, a ceiling inspired by an opera, graphic arts on the walls, a mix of tables of various heights and Tuscan furniture.
On your plates you will find the creativity and know-how of our kitchen team. Based on a constant search for quality products, while favouring short or local circuits, Maxime and his team have managed to combine the richness of the Swiss soil with the freshness of Mediterranean cuisine.
THE BAR
A friendly and relaxed place, sitting on stools or leaning on the brushed stainless steel counter, enjoy a cocktail, a beer or a glass of wine. In the background, you can watch our team evolve and enjoy the view from our semi-open kitchen.
Moments of sharing, conviviality and encounters, you will also be able to enjoy our menu in all simplicity, whether it is for a small or large snack.
THE WINE CELLAR
Glazed and accessible to the public, our wine cellar reflects our personality. Our references are evolving, and our choice of responsible winegrowers who cultivate a terroir and an ethic of respect for nature will allow you to choose from over 40 bottles from Switzerland, Italy and France. If you feel like it, you can come and take a bottle from our cellar, which we will gladly serve you in our establishment.
In addition, we offer a selection of wines by the glass, according to our favourites or discoveries. Our team is at your disposal to advise you on the characteristics of each wine. All our wines are of course available to take away to share a moment of pleasure or to offer a gift to a person close to your heart.
THE OUTDOORS
Feel like enjoying the fresh mountain air? Our 2 outdoor terraces can help you catch a ray of sunshine while enjoying a drink or sharing a meal. On the village side, the atmosphere is shady, animated throughout the year by ALTA’s own events (live music, oyster bar, ephemeral bar…) as well as by the various performances of our local actors in the emblematic street of Champéry.
On the mountain side, the deck will delight your eyes with an unfiltered view of the Dents du Midi, the Dents Blanches and the chalets of Champéry. Intimate and free of noise, it is ideal for relaxing time while enjoying the services of our team.
GROUPS AND COMPANY OUTINGS
Do you have an event to celebrate, a business lunch during your seminar in one of the hotels of the region or a moment to share with your team? We can welcome you with a personalised service.
